The Arc has programs for both children and adults with disabilities and provides support to parents and families as well. Some of the programs offered include a day program for adults diagnosed with autism, social events, counseling appointments for adults with disabilities to address grief and relational issues, social events and activities, a monthly sewing class and a Best Buddies Program. Children's programs include after school care, summer camps and a teen/young adult group.
The Arc of McLennan County is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) membership association affiliated with The Arc of the United States and The Arc of Texas. It is governed by a local Board of Directors.
