CityLink Transit and ADA Paratransit Service help people with disabilities get around Abilene. They offer a fixed-route bus service that is accessible. Their buses are easy for people who use wheelchairs to use. They can also accommodate three-wheeled scooters and other similar mobility devices. Drivers announce all stops and welcome requests for a specific location to be announced.
Drivers will help passengers transfer from one bus to another. Prior notice is required. CityLink will also help people with a disability that may have trouble identifying the correct bus at a location. Call the CityLink office prior to the trip to get the help you need. The driver of the bus will be informed of your needs.
CityLink has a Telecommunications Display Device (TDD) for people with a hearing impairment. Call CityLink TDD at 325-676-6401 from your TDD device.
