Goodwill's mission is to actively pursue the full participation in society of people with disabilities and disadvantages by expanding their opportunities and capabilities through employment and training programs. The Vocational Adjustment Training is designed to effectively assist individuals with a variety of abilities to learn the skills needed to become work-ready. Through a series of 9 courses, its focus is to build interpersonal skills related to basic traits and attitudes that will lead to successful employment.
Goodwill Central Texas offers computer basic skills classes, provides onsite training, computer lab adaptive technology, GED preparation/adult basic education, job skills/placement services, and supportive services for people with disabilities.
