CSHCN helps clients with their medical, dental and mental health care, drugs, special therapies, case management, family support services, travel to health care visits, insurance premiums, and more. This program is available to anyone who lives in Texas, is under age 21 (or any age with cystic fibrosis), has a certain level of family income, has a medical problem that is expected to last at least 12 months, will limit one or more major life activities, needs more health care than what children usually need and has physical symptoms.
