Navigate Life Texas: Resources for kids with disabilities and special needs
Camp Drive has openings for adults (18 years and older) with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Each camper is grouped with a team of peers and staff who participate in all of the activities together.
Camp DRIVE provides weekend respites to families and саrеgіvеrѕ. Caring for an individual with special needs can be very rewarding, but it can also be taxing. These weekend camp sessions not only provides the camper with a fun and educational experience, but it also allows caregivers some time for self-care and relaxation. While Camp DRIVE does not currently provide experiences for caregivers, they do offer suggestions and ideas to make sure this is a positive experience for everyone involved.
