This workshop gives parents information about the DeafTEC program which helps deaf or hard of hearing young people participate in thoughtful career exploration and planning. Many young people who are deaf or hard of hearing find themselves unemployed or underemployed in their post- high school years. Strong career decision-making skills will likely improve graduation rate for those working toward a baccalaureate or associates degree.
