This is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of other parents and affect their child’s quality of life. This training will help you understand the Admission Review and Dismissal (ARD) process, and how to help other parents navigate it.
Steps to attend Parent Leadership Training:
The three part process includes:
1. Take two online courses before the leadership training. They can be found at : " http://learn-online.prntexas.org" . The courses are Individuduals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) 2004 and Procedural Safeguards.
2. Attend the one-day in-person Parent Leadership Training.
3. Participate in a follow-up webinar.
