Young actors will have an opportunity to choose a short monologue and will learn the basics of individual performance including projection, diction, memorization techniques and character work. All students will also be introduced to appropriate audience etiquette and how to respond when someone else is performing. The class will end with a performance for family and friends (May 23rd).
The Palace Theater Education Department is dedicated to quality Theater Education for all members of the Community.
No previous experience is needed. Some of the skills learned are teamwork and patience.
