Eye Care for Kids Foundation believes that every child, regardless of their parent's income, deserves the opportunity to see clearly in order to function in the classroom.
Our mission is to empower children to reach their full educational and social potential through vision. With clear vision, those who benefit from our program are given an equal opportunity to succeed in school and have a greater chance of growing into confident, self-reliant members of the community.
Through services at targeted schools and community health fairs, the organization has delivered free vision screening to nearly 100,000 children in grades Pre-K through 12th grade. Children who need glasses and have no means to pay for this vision care are referred to a team of volunteer doctors who donate comprehensive eye exams and provide free glasses to students.
