Eye Care for Kids Foundation believes that every child, regardless of their parent's income, deserves the opportunity to see clearly in order to function in the classroom.
Our mission is to empower children to reach their full educational and social potential through vision. With clear vision, those who benefit from our program are given an equal opportunity to succeed in school and have a greater chance of growing into confident, self-reliant members of the community.
The application process for these free services is usually initiated by the school nurse. State certified vision screeners are sent to school and community events to help identify children who may need glasses and provide eye glasses to identified low-income students.
