BBCAC provides transportation to medical facilities. BBCAC TRAX Transportation is available to the public in their service areas. This service can be used for various reasons: shopping, work place, visiting friends and family, airports, and/or medical appointments. BBCAC assists low income families access several progams to help reduce utility expenses. They are: the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) through its Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), reduces heating and cooling costs for low-income families, particularly for the elderly, people with disabilities and families with children, by improving the energy efficiency of their homes while ensuring their health and safety. WAP is designed to promote energy efficiency in the residences of low-income persons, elderly and families with young children. The program provides energy related improvements to homes and educates consumers about energy conservation. The Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) is a utility assistance program designed to help clients achieve energy self-sufficiency by encouraging consumers to control energy costs. The program provides utility payments on behalf of the clients and also addresses the underlying contributing causes of energy induced hardships.
