Counselors and qualified health personnel care for CAMPers in a multipurpose, heated/cooled facility at Camp CAMP. Camp CAMP is located 10 miles southeast of Kerrville, Texas. Activities include canoeing, horseback riding, swimming, arts & crafts, outdoor cooking, nature activities, and more. Respite Weekends are themed each month.
Families must enroll in the Respite Club in order to participate in a Respite Weekend event. Once a family is a Respite Club member, they must apply for each monthly event as the registration becomes available. Annual Respite Club Membership dues are $60 for the first family member, and $10 per additional member. The full cost for a weekend is $300 (Spring Break Camp is $750). For those unable to afford the full cost, a Tier Pricing Program is available.
Most Respite Weekends begin on Saturday with check-in at 10:00 a.m. and ends on Sunday with pick-up at 3:00 p.m. Confirmation letters, maps, and packing list are mailed or emailed approximately one week prior to the event.
