Family Counseling Services-Parent Education Program

• The course focuses on the following topics: parenting skills, effective discipline, communication, consequences, behavior management.
• The intent of the Parent Education Program is to teach families strategies for getting along, establishing and following family rules and creating a loving family environment.
• This program is beneficial parents, as well as the children in a family by improving communication and reducing stress. It helps parents to enhance their children\'s coping skills, reduces child behavior problems, and reduces or eliminates the risk of child abuse by the parents.
