Siblings of kids with special needs face unique challenges and opportunities and sometimes struggle with getting support they need. This sibling support group is a place to siblings to come together to share their experiences, their tips on being a sib, and to make friends who “get it.” Sibs will play games and participate in activities that offer an opportunity to discuss their experiences as well as just have a plain ol’good time!
Facilitators assist the children in sharing feelings and experiences in an encouraging and positive format. The children are able to bond with other children who understand both the ups and downs of having a sibling with disabilities.
