IDA facilitates and disseminates research-based knowledge as to the causes and early identification of dyslexia and other related learning difficulties, and to promote the use of structured literacy for teaching reading and written expression.Programs include: annual college panel, art contest, spring conference and fall symposium, regional group events, scholarship funds for conference and symposium and for educational diagnostic testing for children, help connecting to resources, information, resource directory, helpline as well as a Golden Triangle Regional Representative.
