A trainer will assess your current skills and capabilities in order to design a program specifically tailored to your needs. A trainer will teach you fundamentals needed to be able to use the entire transit system. The trainer will help you on every step of the way and can even accompany you on trips until you become comfortable enough to ride by yourself.
After successful completion of the class, you will learn the skills and have the confidence to use all of METRO’s transportation services and choose one or a combination that is convenient for you. This includes local fixed-route buses, Park & Ride buses, and METRORail. Senior Citizens or individuals with a valid ADA/METROLift card can ride the regular bus and rail services at a discounted rate or even free in some events! ADA/METROLift card holders can also bring one personal attendant at no charge.
