The Nick Finnegan Counseling Center offers a support group for children with an ADHD diagnosis and a support group for their parents. Attendees learn how to work with – instead of against – ADHD for the betterment of the family and the child’s academic success. Both groups are led by licensed mental health counselors.
Cost is $120 per family. Total of 6 meetings plus a parent consultation and a child/therapist meeting. Insurance, sliding scale and payment plans are available by request.
Free child care is available upon request.
NEW BEGINNINGS is a workshop for blended families and Premarital Workshops are also offered. This organization has a goal to raise awareness about cost-effective counseling resources available and encourages people to accept the need to ask for help. They offer a sliding scale based on income, when needed. They offer services to individuals, couples and families.
