The Nueces County Home Visiting Program provides evidence-based home visiting services and promotes a seamless delivery of health and human services to ensure that all children are healthy and ready for school. The programs are voluntary services that match parents with trained professionals to provide information and support during pregnancy and throughout their child’s first five years. All services are provided FREE of charge.
Some of the programs offered are: Early Head Start, Home Visitation , Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) ,Nurse-Family Partnership Parents as Teachers
These programs are for pregnant women and parents of all children birth to age five.
