Navigate Life Texas: Resources for kids with disabilities and special needs
Patsy's Destiny Wheelchair Accessible Playground was added to Bay Area Rehabilitation Center in 2002 to provide the community with a recreational area designed with a focus on meeting the needs of individuals with disabilities. Patsy's Destiny provides a great location where individuals with and without special needs can enjoy recreation together and learn from each other's strengths and weaknesses. The recreational area has continued to grow in development through the years, primarily due to over 4,000 hours of volunteer time devoted to the project.
