Pearland Parks and Recreation is proud to offer an Adaptive Recreation program that provides social and recreational services to youth and adults with physical or developmental disabilities. Our goal is to offer a positive and supportive learning environment where individuals can explore new skills, develop friendships and have opportunities to gain a sense of independence.
To enroll in the program, participants should submit the participation form and liability waiver to the Adaptive Recreation Specialist. For more information, call 281.412.8900.
The Miracle League is an all-purpose baseball field that allows kids with all abilities the opportunity to play baseball without barriers. The Miracle League Field is an addition to the Sports Complex at Shadow Creek Ranch located at 13050 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, TX. The league will provide two seasons a year, both in the Fall and Spring. Each one of our athletes will be provided with their own uniform, which will include a shirt and hat, and a trophy at the end of the season. All equipment will also be provided to every athlete, with modifications to help accommodate the athletes’ needs. Modifications include different size and styles of balls, bats, helmets and hitting tees and each league will be free of cost to the athlete.
