Project Sunshine provides free programs and services to children with long-term illnesses, disabilities, and special health care needs and their siblings.
Members pay dues and volunteer their time to make these programs possible and free of charge for the children and their families.
Their main goal is to provide friendship while bringing a smile to the kids' faces.
Coordinated events include Family Picnic, Waco Zoo, Movie Night, Halloween Carnival, Bowling, Santa’s Wonderland, Oil Ranch, and more!
Each child is paired with a member of Project Sunshine to be their buddy for the event.
Events allow members to get to know the children and give the children a chance to just be kids and have fun!
