Providence Place, the Center for HIgher Independence offers students opportunites to develope work, life and social skills. Students must be at least 18 years of age, possess life skills and have a qualifying need or diagnosed disability such as Developmental/Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Autism or Asperger Syndrome. Deafness or Hearing Impairment or other learning disabilities. The average time from enrollment to graduation is from 12 to 24 months. Graduates can expect to hold a job and have the ability to live on their own.
