Center-base respite is a “Moms Day Out” style program. The children are provided arts/crafts, toys, games, technology, outdoor play, lunch and a snack. Children are in a small classroom (5-7 children, maximum) with a teacher with specialized training for children with special needs. There is an RN/LVN on site at all times to meet the medication and treatment needs of the children attending.
This monthly respite care program is offered to families of children with disabilities ages 3 months to 18 years who reside in the family's home. Services are free. An application is required. The address for this resource is not provided until the application is confirmed.
