A week-long adaptive sports camp for kids ages 7-21 with Cerebral Palsy “The best part is that you see so many smiles, so much joy from the kids. What I saw from my daughter in that experience was amazing. She came home saying she played tennis for the first time and got to do yoga and scored soccer goals. Her self-confidence was raised so much.” -- Camp In Motion Parent Camp in Motion is a unique opportunity for kids with Cerebral Palsy to explore the fun of movement, play sports, splash in the water, make new friends and HAVE FUN! Campers meet Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Southwest Family YMCA. Sessions are staffed by the YMCA of Austin and physical and occupational therapists from Dell Children’s Medical Center. Volunteers for the program also include students and faculty from the Austin Community College Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program, and other members of the local community.
