The Red Cross Community Services program provides non-emergency medical transportation and is possible because of the investment by the United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast and donations from individuals, foundations and corporations. Because the program operates through the generosity of local donors, capacity is limited. It is best to reserve a ride at least 2 weeks in advance, and you may reserve up to 30 days in advance.
They serve individuals who are elderly, individuals (over 18) who are chronically ill or have a disability and have no other means of transportation.
