Navigate Life Texas: Resources for kids with disabilities and special needs
The Autism Parent Training Program is available in the New Braunfels area. The group training course supports parents by increasing their knowledge on how behavior is learned and the identifying function or purpose of their child's challenging behaviors. Parents learn side by side the meaning behind their child's challenging behaviors and how to address these behaviors in their daily life. Parents are supported by experienced and credentialed staff that assists them to meet their child's behavioral needs. The 6-session includes: Family Foundations, Addressing Behaviors Through ABA (2 sessions) and Proactive and Reactive Visual Supports. New classes begin every four weeks. New Braunfels are interactive web-based classes held at New Braunfels Food Bank.
