Life Development & Health Services (LDHS’s) Early Childhood Services help young children from birth to age 6 with mental health or behavioral difficulties while extending resources to Autism spectrum disorders.
The key to promoting healthy development is by identifying and addressing concerns early—when children are most flexible and able to change. Teaching children problem solving skills, social and emotional skills have proven to substantially impact their ability to foster healthy relationships and educational success. While on the other hand, not doing so yields less desirable outcomes.
LDHS offers an array of services to meet the needs of young children through direct service, screening and diagnostic assessment, consultation and training. LDHS also partners with early childhood providers, mental health agencies and schools:
