Navigate Life Texas Inclusion and Exclusion Policy

Navigate Life Texas.org web site, was created for and by parents and caregivers of children with special needs. Navigate Life Texas inclusion and exclusion policy is created to maintain the web site's integrity. This policy is uniformly applied by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), Office of Health Coordination and Consumer Services (HCCS).

The purpose of this policy is to provide clear standards and ensure adherence to HHSC inclusion and exclusion guidelines. Information submitted to be posted on Navigate Life Texas.org, will be reviewed and approved or disapproved for publication by HHSC in its sole discretion. The following information is prohibited and is subject to rejection:

• Confidential or sensitive personal information
• Copyrighted materials
• Threatening, harassing, defamatory or discriminatory language
• Information that could compromise public safety
• Information that could  incite or promote violence or illegal activities
• Information that promotes political views or candidates
• Commercial endorsements or SPAM
• Off-topic or out of context materials
• Information that may infringe on the rights of any third party
• Information that is deemed illegal
• Information that otherwise violates HHS policy

HHSC will refrain from posting any information or links to information that are determined to be inappropriate for users.
