CBWF provides services to those in our community that are often disenfranchised, taking on causes to fill gaps in services that no other agency provides. Current services include primary health care, mental health and substance misuse programs, infectious disease testing, education and linkage to treatment, and evidence-based substance misuse prevention curriculum for youth.
The Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation, formerly Coastal Bend AIDS Foundation provides assistance to individuals that are living with HIV/AIDS. Services provided are medical case management, non-medical case management by providing social support services; disease education through outreach and prevention programs; substance abuse services; and housing.
Project Turnaround provides the Too Good For Drugs (TGFD) curriculum to 1st thru 8th grade students in one hour sessions over 10 weeks or twice a week for 5 weeks to local schools and community sites. Facilitators are available to deliver single topic presentations for schools and community sites. - i.e. Tobacco, Alcohol, Prescription Drugs & Synthetic Marijuana. Referral services and drug prevention information are available for schools & community sites.
Project HUG (Helping U Grow) provides intensive case management, and a Nurturing Parenting Program for pregnant or postpartum teens and adults with or at risk for substance abuse problems. Assistance with parenting items (i.e. diapers, formula, car seats, etc.) may also be provided.
PADRE (Parenting Awareness and Drug Risk Education) is a program for fathers involved with Child Protective Services (CPS). PADRE offers intensive case management, parenting education, and substance abuse counseling. Additionally, PADRE provides assistance with diapers, children’s clothing, children’s toys, and other child items. PADRE can also assist with providing public transportation passes to its clients

CBWF offers services to address serious mental health illness, or concurring mental health /substance abuse disorders to individuals, and families, who are experiencing homelessness.
