DBMAT is the Texas Affiliate of The National Family Association for Texans who are deaf-blind.

Services include:

• resource information and referrals to families, professionals, state agencies, and provider agencies serving people who are deaf-blind multihandicapped of all ages
• parent-to-parent linkage in geographical areas, statewide, and nationwide
• encourage sibling-to-sibling networking
• promote public awareness of the unique needs surrounding challenging conditions
