Epilepsy support groups provide peer support, information sharing, and discussion of common problems. They may also include presentations by professionals on topics of interest. Zoom information will be distributed prior to the meeting. Epilepsy support groups can be a place to talk with people who know where you’re coming from and a forum to give and receive information about epilepsy and treatments. They can be a place to stay informed about the latest legislation, research, and resources.
In-person monthly support groups are also available in the San Antonio. Contact EFCST for information and to register for these meetings at (phone) 210-653-5353 or (email) Staff@EFCST.org.
