NAMI Greater Houston Support Groups

NAMI Greater Houston is excited to offer an array of Support Groups in an effort to meet your specific interests and needs. Our support groups are peer-led and are designed for any adult who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition or the people that support their recovery. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others and the groups are led by trained leaders who've been there.  All support groups meet through zoom.  

NAMI’s support groups are unique because they follow a structured model to ensure you and others in the group have an opportunity to be heard and helped.

Pre-registration is required and must be done no later than 4 hours before the support group is scheduled to meet.

So be sure to register early, as limited seats (15 maximum) are available for each session. Participants must be at least 18 years or older.

NAMI Family Support Group is a free 90-minute support group for family, partners, friends and significant others of a loved one with a mental health condition. 
NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is a 90-minute recovery support group for people living with a mental health condition in which people learn from each others’ experiences, share coping strategies, and offer each other encouragement and understanding.
Grupo de apoyo familiar NAMI GH es un grupo de apoyo gratuito de 90 minutos para familiares, parejas, amigos y otras personas importantes de un ser querido con una condición de salud mental. 
NAMI Grief Support Group is a 60-minute support group for those dealing with loss and/or bereavement.
Healing circles build a collective, community capacity for healing. The groups run for 5-weeks and require pre-registration.
