Navigate Life Texas: Resources for kids with disabilities and special needs
Neurodiversity Affirming Parenting is a free, monthly, in-person support group for parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children and teens. It is led by neurodivergent parents who are also mental health and child development professionals. This group will offer a safe space for parents to process and learn about their child's unique developmental path, setting a foundation for a holistic and affirming understanding of what their child needs to thrive and foster a self-determined life. You will be able to connect with other parents who "get it" in a nonjudgemental space and feel empowered through reflection and information to guide you on your parenting journey. Family Spectrum is a community resource with a mission to cultivate belonging though education that is aligned with the neurodiversity paradigm, a framework for understanding human brain function that views neurodiversity as a natural and valuable part of human diversity. We also offer a weekly, online support group on Tuesdays.
