Staff plans and coordinates a variety of structured activities that teach life skills, games that improve cognitive and motor skill development. These programs include Integrated Classes; Dances; Field Trips; Arts and Crafts; and more. Please view activity calendar for more specific days and times.
One way transportation is available within the City of Abilene limits. Bus riders can either pick-up or take home clients. Rides must be scheduled a minimum of 24 hours in advance. The Adaptive Recreation Services Program has a free daily lunch program. The lunch program is prepared at the Rose Park Senior Activity Center. Funds are courtesy of the United Way of Abilene.
