American Association of the Deaf -Blind

American Association of the Deaf Blind (AADB) has a membership of indiviudals who are deaf-blind from diverse backgrounds as well as family members, professionals, interpreters, and other interested supporters.

Activities of the organization include:

• Providing Information to people who have both a hearing and a vision loss and the public on a variety of topics, including communication methods, emergency preparedness and technology.
• Hosting a clearing house, providing information, referrals, and technical assistance.
• Periodically sponsoring National Summits and Conferences, including a Support Service Provider (SSP) training summit.   
• Advocating for increasing and improving SSP services across the country.
