Our aim is to provide support, community events, training, networking and technology in order to help meet the specific needs of children and adults with autism, as well as their families within the Concho Valley.
We started our organization to provide opportunities for social development to ensure community inclusion for children and families challenged by autism.
We provide sensory sensitive events for children and families. One challenge with autism is sensory processing that prevents children from being included in community events. We work with community partners to accommodate needs, such as leaving the lights up in a theatre, lowering the sound, eliminating long wait lines, limit crowds, and more. We offer various activities throughout the year including: Summer Splash, ThAUTful Theater and Sensory Santa.
