Breaking Barriers Respite LLC is a respite care service in the Fort Bend and greater Houston area. They accept waiver funding as well as private pay. Individuals are given the opportunity to enjoy community outings and increase social skills, educational skills, and independent living skills. The program is geared to provide everyone with objectives on or above their level of functioning to encourage each person to work beyond their barriers.
Short term day care available (3 hour minimum) and rates based on level of need. Trained staff can provide this service inside the family home or at the Respite care home.
Overnight respite offers 3 meals, snacks, outings into the community (services to be paid for by family), assistance with daily living skills and social skills activities. Services can be provided for up to 30 days at a time.
For Individuals receiving Respite or Community First Choice PAS HAB services, they do accept waiver pay and will contract with your Agency or CDSA.
