Providing short-term, temporary housing for families with children receiving pediatric cancer treatment in Houston. Most stays are between a few days to a few weeks. The Chance for Hope Foundation’s housing program is not intended for stays exceeding 6 weeks. The units are one bedroom units. However, each is equipped with a sofa that can be converted into a queen-sized bed. Some units may also have inflatable air mattresses that may be used. Covered parking is available on the property at no charge. Shuttle service is also available to and from the Medical Center.
Because treatment is unpredictable, the Chance for Hope Foundation makes every attempt to be as flexible as possible with the families currently residing in our units. As a result, we are NOT able to confirm accommodations any sooner than one week prior to a family’s anticipated arrival date. Applications may be submitted in advance of this time and dates may be “penciled into the calendar.” Families are encouraged in such instances to check back with the Chance for Hope Foundation one week prior to arrival date for a status update.
Complete the online application and you will be contacted by a Foundation representative with additional required forms to complete.
