Children with Special Needs Network (CSNN)

Children’s Special Needs Network (CSNN) diverse services include annual conference for parents and professionals to obtain training on a variety of topics. The conference with exhibits, meals, and childcare are provided without cost for families.

Respite one Saturday per month in Waco.

Information and referral to parents and professionals inquiring about services available for children with disabilities.

A resource library of books and videos with information relevant to families and professionals who work with children with disabilities.

Recreational and social experiences for children with a disability via the CSNN Annual Family Playday at the Peaceable Kingdom and other events.

Build awareness in the community regarding the needs of families raising children with disabilities and chronic illnesses.

Reimbursement for funds used for in-home respite (child care that gives caregivers a break!), medical equipment, supplies and medications that Medicaid or private insurance does not cover.

Scholarships to camp so that children can have a fun week of horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, and socializing with new friends while their parents receive a week of needed respite care.

Conference and workshop fees so that caregivers can receive information to assist them in caring for their children with disabilities.
