City of Houston Hire Houston Youth Summer Jobs Program! Each summer, city departments open their doors to provide opportunities for you to earn while you learn about what it takes to serve the residents of the nation’s 4th largest city.
The City of Houston Summer Jobs program reflects the City’s commitment to Mayor Turner’s Hire Houston Youth (HHY) initiative. Each year, HHY partners with the public, private, and philanthropic sectors to offer eight-week paid summer jobs and internships for youth and young adults, ages 16 - 24.
