DePelchin Children’s Center supports and sustains children and the families who care for them. We provide comprehensive services focused on ensuring all children are part of safe, caring homes. We deploy evidence-based practices and strategies to prevent maltreatment, preserve healthy families, and bring healing to children who have experienced trauma by enhancing their physical health and mental well-being. Some of the services besides foster care and adoption programs included are: parenting program, programs for at-risk youths, School-Based Programs and Residential Treatment program that treats children and adolescents struggling with severe mental, emotional or behavioral problems treatment that inhibit normal functioning in a family setting. They also offer free individual and family counseling in addition to parenting support through its STAR (Sevices-to-At-Risk-Youth) Program and Community-based Counseling Program.
