Discover Gymnastics special needs classes are a parent-child interactive program for children age 2 years and up with special needs including, but not limited to, any autistic spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, multiple sclerosis, cystic fibrosis, developmental delay, chromosome deficiency, or any physical disability.
Children learn the fundamentals of Olympic-style gymnastics using a modified Olympic apparatus. Children are encouraged to participate and progress at their own ability with the emphasis on overall fitness and coordination. All classes have a student to teacher ratio of 10-to-1 or better.
