• A weekend camp experience for any family that has a child currently battling cancer or who has battled cancer in recent years. The weekend is full of activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, horseback riding, boating, campfires, archery, talent shows, and many other fun activities. There is also time for the parents to hang out with each other or for them to go off by themselves while the children are supervised by our volunteers.
• It is available to any child in Texas who does not have a residential camp available to him/her either in his/her geographical residence area or through his/her treatment center.
• If your hospital does not offer a camp, please contact them about a special application to come to Camp Discovery.
