The Down Syndrome Association of South Texas provides services and support for children and adults with Down syndrome and their families in San Antonio and surrounding areas. The DSASTX gathers and shares resources and information for those with Down syndrome and their families. It also provides opportunities for families to foster friendships and offer mutual support through parent education sessions, community-based social activities, special events, and educational programs. Programs include Music and Movement for ages 0-5, Kid Connection for ages 6-12, Teen and Adult Club for ages 13 and above, D.A.D.S for fathers, Grupo de Apoyo en Espanol (Padres ayudando a padres), Adult Continuing Education for ages 18 and above, and more.
