KIDS - Ready to Read: Every Child Ready to Read® @ your library® (ECRR) is a parent education initiative. It stresses early literacy begins with the primary adults in a child's life. The ECRR toolkit empowers public libraries to assume an essential role in supporting early literacy within a community.
Babies and Books (Birth – 18 months) For children from birth to 18 months. Books, songs, fingerplays and more! Learn techniques to help you, help your baby, get Ready to Read.
Toddler Time (18 months – 3 years) Storytime specifically for the active toddler. Hear great stories, discover action rhymes, learn new songs, and more. Stimulate your child’s imagination and get them Ready to Read!
Preschool Storytime (3 – 5 years) Experience new and classic picture books, enjoy favorite songs, learn new fingerplays and activities. School is just around the corner, this is a fun way to have your child Ready to Read.
Story Play (Birth – 5 years) Hear wonderful stories, discover amazing toys, and meet new friends in this fun informal program. Playing and reading helps prepare your child to be Ready to Read.
Family Storytime (ALL Ages and the Young at Heart) The WHOLE family is invited on a journey into books, songs, and activities. Preschool age children engage in skills that help them become Ready to Read. Older children will hear new stories and learn new songs. Fun for ALL ages!
Citizenship Classes, Teen Hangout, Computer Classes, El Paso Ready to Read for children, Literacy Center, Tumblewords Writing League, Photography Enthusiasts of El Paso, Girl Scout Daisy Troop #300, Anime Training Group, movie nights etc.
