This program provides teens with a link to the outside world while undergoing cancer treatment and allows them to keep up with their school work while away from the classroom. The Holiday Heroes program provides full holiday joy to families and Heroes Milestones focuses on milestone events in a child’s life that due to a cancer diagnosis might go uncelebrated. The celebrations can include birthday parties, Quinceneras, proms, graduations, and even Celebration of Life parties.
Assistance provided for families can include, mortgage or rent payments, utility assistance, hotel and car expenses, car payments and travel to and from hospital treatments.
