Navigate Life Texas: Resources for kids with disabilities and special needs
Heroes and More is an organization that brings together people from all walks of life, including active duty military, stay-at-home-mothers, nurses, and professionals. Members of the group dress as Superheroes and Princesses, giving children with underlying threatening medical challenges, health challenges or any other disability a reason to smile, hope and dream.
Projects include: Hero Box Program, Hospital visits, Special Case Children, Community Events, Holidays at the Hospitals and Public Appearances. Their goal is for everyone to realize that it does not take a cape to be a superhero, just the desire to become an active force in the world around you and make our world a better place.
