Hope Family Health Center provides quality integrated medical and counseling services including preventative care and education to medically indigent individuals and families living in the Rio Grande Valley. Groups meet to address a variety of health and mental health needs. Their Facebook page lists information on a variety of topics, for example, educational trainings, mental health related workshops, and laughter yoga classes.
They ask HOPE patients for small donations of $5-$15, however, no patient is ever turned away for inability to pay. They do not charge for their services and rely on the generosity of the community, fundraisers, and grants to sustain their services. They aim to provide services that strengthen families and build community.
