KINGDOM CREW PRESCHOOL AND KIDS-The children in these rooms are from birth through elementary age and have a variety of disabilities. The need for volunteer support is determined by the needs of the child.
KINGDOM CRUSADERS-This class is designed for junior high and high school students as well as adults who have a variety of disabilities. The need for volunteer support is determined by the needs of the individual.
STEPPING STONES-This class is designed for elementary age students who do not have a severe disability but are not ready to attend a typical Children’s Ministry class.
ENCOURAGERS-This class is designed for teenage students who do not have a severe disability but are not ready to attend a typical Kingsland Student Ministry class.
TAKING AIM-This class is an adult ministry class that serves adults with a variety of disabilities. The adults in the class are independent and require minimal volunteer support.
Sunday Mornings
The Special Needs Ministry at the Central Campus serves infants, children and teens with special needs in the Kingdom Crew Kids and Kingdom Crew Teens classes on Sunday mornings at the 9:30 am and 11:00 am. The Taking AIM class serves adults with special needs at 11:00 am.
“Buddy” support is provided to students with special needs who are best served in the regular children and youth ministry classes.
Wednesday Nights
During the school year Wednesday Night Activities are provided for all age groups from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm while parents attend the Special Hearts Parent Support Group or other Wednesday night church activities.
The Special Hearts Parent Support Group for parents of children with special needs meets on Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
