Originating on the University of Texas at Austin campus, Lifelong Learning with Friends (LLWF) provides adult learners with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) access to stimulating, diverse and fun post-secondary education opportunities. In addition to widening access to courses, Lifelong Learning with Friends will be expanding the number of courses offered each semester.
Their in-person and virtual programs are designed to meet each student's unique needs and goals, empowering them to learn, grow, and thrive in a supportive community. Their courses are reverse inclusion, meaning that neurotypical UT college students will learn and have fun alongside their neurodiverse peers. Full or partial scholarships may be available.
