Members join together for regional conferences, in providing support and resources to members of the community, and in raising awareness about issues that affect short statured individuals and their families.
The private local LPA Facebook Group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/lpadistrict8/) serves to support all members involved in the dwarfism community, through the facilitation of group discussions, announcements of events and activities, connecting families, and sharing personal stories.
